He lost his temper and popped her in the face. I'm not passing judgement on who is right or wrong. I'm just saying that he lost his temper and hit her. I think he could've used more agression in restraining her and there would not have been a need for a punch. He should've used the element of surprise. He could've used speed, strength and stealth force to put her down on the ground and subdue her in a matter of seconds. The punch was ineffective. It did not hurt her. It just pissed her off. Since when is a punch the most effective way to subdue a suspect?

actually the punch was effective because the girl he punched never got in his business again after she got clocked.

I think she got off easy. When I first seen it I thought he was in the wrong... Looking at it again, he was nice enough to just strike her.

Call me crazy but I hope people don't start with the color issue as to why he did it

You just introduced race. No one else has done that. I think most people don't see this as a racial issue, except maybe you.

The punch was INEFFECTIVE. The only way the punch would be considered effective is if it took her down and slowed her aggression. It did neither. It just agitated the suspect. Police work is all about force and submission. He threw a soft punch that didn't subdue her.

Listen, you can't bring race into this. We're not at your job. No one on the forum has mentioned race.

well...in a way the punch was somewhat effective. after that she stood about 30ft away and never did approach him again. i guess she realized that he meant business and she shouldnt have put her hands on the cop

I could restrain the girl better then he did.......
