Taz2478, all I was trying to say with the beta analogy is that it's like Deja vu all over again with the format wars, the licensing of studios and distributors. I hope Sony has learned their lesson this time.. Unfortunatley DVD and/or HD DVD players like VHS players are doomed to a short market life....but as long as there is a market to keep rebuying the same Movie or Artist on the latest tech formats the milking will continue..

beta-vhs gives no insight to this as that was decided by how much recording time was available, 1hr (beta) or 2hrs (vhs, which was able to stretch to 8hrs). HD-BR has only to do with red or blue laser and Java or HDi. Many titles produced the same way on both, take a wild guess... are the same thing.

beta-vhs is like people still worried about burn-in on a plasma.

xbox 360 is the best online but there are still flaws like the hole halo destroying 360s and the fact both bugee and microsoft ignored the problem .
i still can only play halo if i use my memory card .

or the little xmas flaw recently where the servers would crash because of the amount of extra players they never saw coming that was annoying

but after that you cant beat 16 mates all running about screaming on halo being chased by a super fast zombie ,or call of duty 3 online

I am sitting home all weekend and watching football, not modding fish forum. I might delete some of your posts during time-outs though. Oh, and REC, you said you were done here. Funny that I find you in a tech thread again. I love it when people go crying off into the sunset, then show up again a month later. Didn't you say this forum was just a bunch of kids? Yet you keep coming back again and again, you can't even stay away for a month! That other forum not doing it for you?
