Wish he picked a less attractive Koi. I do think it's lame that he used a nice Koi. The way I look at it, there are some people who don't view predators as hunters and view them as just killing machines for their entertainment. I personally don't agree with feeding anything to my fish that they can't finish off in one gulp. It's quick and doesn't stir up a mess.
 
thank you benz. i told him he should know that he can feed his fish something other than live fish. but all we are getting back from him is rude remarks.
 
^you do sound like kind of a wuss tho, i mean this is a pirhana forum so if someone said koi made piranhas alot healthier and stronger i would feed a koi every day. its all about piranhas!!!
 
this thread is not about nutrition...... its about how they could possibly feed piranhas a koi for their own entertainment purposes.
 
Yeah thats messed.. it was a beautiful koi.. but how does that giant pleco exist in that tank?? my piranha started taking chunks out of my pleco so had to take him out
 
i don't have time to read through this whole thread, so sorry id this has been said already.
IMO, the problem with feeding anything something other than a 'feeder' is that the feeder was given life just to be fed to something, while (in this case) the koi was born to live a long and peaceful life. the feeder wouldn't even have a chance to live if it weren't for the fact that it was going to die
 
hence why i was disgusted. it was a koi. and they dont need to be fed live food as this person seems to think that they have to be.
