and your so lucky to have a garage, i would have a HUGE pool in there with a bunch of aros and just use a 45g hot water heater to keep it warm.

well its been raining here and where i dug the pond is in a low spot so all the water went that direction and its completely full,so not much digging getting done this weekend :(

umm you might want to raise the edge then, run off draining into pond = XXXX for your fish.

I made a raised edge on my pond out of the clay I was digging out of it then put the liner over that. now if it rains the run off cant get into the pond.

yea im going to leave the edge up about 1-2" and just pile some rocks around it so it cant be seen

so i started to look at places around here for rock, and the place by my house wants 50 dollars for one rock... 1 Freaking rock!

ohh yea my landlord is cool

the pond is in the ground and full of water. I didnt measure too well and dug about 1' too wide so i am filling back in around the pool. Then i have to find a place that sells rock I can afford to surround the pool and stack over my DIY filter

So i was searching craiglist and found a guy that was selling some stuff, turned out to be a deal of a lifetime. I got this large canister filter with a UV sterilizer, a 900gph mag drive and a 1100gph mag drive for almost free. I traded some old tools for em :) But ya cant judge it yet, I havent put the dirt or rock around it. when its done you wont even be able to tell its a kiddy pool

so theres a small leak around the bowl and i cant find any place that sells a new gasket, but its a small drip every 5-10 seconds so im not worried about it
