When you take on a big project you never know what's round the corner. Cost's could spiral if something goes wrong, other commitments may take priority for a while until you can get back to it or you simply may lose interest and not spend as much time on it to get it finished, before you know it 12 months have passed and you're nowhere near finishing it.

For that reason, if I was doing a big build, i'd take pictures along the way to log every stage but I wouldn't start a build thread until the work was complete.

That way the progress of the build is all in one thread, all at once, from start to completion for the guys on the forum to enjoy.

I hope this guy hasn't had any major setbacks and he gets back to it soon. But in the meantime it's frustrating for us guys because we like nothing better than a good old build thread.:irked:
