I understand that some laws are more "important" than others, but they're laws nonetheless.
Just because you dont agree with it (which you dont have to) doesnt give you the "right" to do it.


I'm not saying that some of these laws aren't silly (I think some are for sure), but if you decide to break it, there is an associated risk.

Important things are crimes like murder and burglary. someone keeping a fish that they shouldn't is not cause for alarm IMO, as long as he is properly caring for it and not breeding them or trying to distribute them.

I agree with this way of thinking. A law is a law. You kill someone, you broke a law and face the other end of it. You house illegal fish, you broke a law and face the other end of it. Are they similar punishments - NO, of course not, because the level of infraction is vastly different. That is why we don't just hang people for any law broken. Each law has it's own punishment which is suitible for the crime (for the most part).

In another example probably in your case, if a co worker came in late, 5 minutes late to work, I know you will rat him out to the boss to improve the company and uphold their standards...And you would go on, on how it is important to weed out the bad workers..So, I know where you stand as as being a rat and a rat is always a rat no matter what the circumstances are..

I am sorry..I dont have any illegal fishes in my home..I just have fishes that I bought that I know that are not illegal...I know of people who sell illegal fishes and they are not my friends..I am not going to come back to this thread..I do folow the law..
