Do You Really Know What You Are Buying?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hopefully at least multiple angles of the fish. A lot harder to change them all but there is still the brightening and colored light issues. Definately not as malicious as photoshopping though!

i wonder how much of this went on a couple years ago when people were buying fish from group buys that in pictures had amazing koks but once they arrived were not that special. a lot of people blamed the stress of the shipment and different water conditions then over seas but this makes me think different. i hope thats not the case.

I know who you bought them from and the fry you are talking about. You paid a good price for them and they should turn out very nice.

ahh good thread n I experienced this myself and here was the pic advertised from Rainybettas aquabid listing

Here is what they look like now.Was expecting the deep red colour but its more of a pink colour than anything and also it has wayyyyy more white in it than it does in the photoshop pic Pat used to sell it as on aquabid.Plus totally different shape of body.

More insult to injury i paid 750usd in total inc transhipping costs 350 for the actual breeding pair ... but since having them in Nov they still cant breed.... the female tex hasnt laid any eggs at all!!

That doesnt even look like the pair in the top pictures.

Exactly! Although it is a 5months difference in time and they have put on a lot of weight since receiving them in Nov but like you say they are not what i ordered D:
