Do you talk or text while driving?

X2. Cellphones suck the life out of life. The day you grow a pair and chuck your phone, your life instantly gets better. It's like birds coming out of breaking clouds, singing as a rainbow descends to make a unicorn parade march from the sky. Seriously. Man up. Stick your phone in the microwave and teach it who's boss.

Just got to learn to control it... not the only way around. I just checked my recent phone calls. It tracks the last 30 calls... mine goes back to November.

unfortunetly some of us rely on cell phones to work and for business. i would love to not own tv's or cell phones or even internet one day and live in the woods or mountains or some where away from modern technology.

agreed... i sometimes wish i could chuck away my phone... but sadly my phone and work go pretty much hand in hand... without my phone, i'd be in some pretty serious trouble...

People need to quit acting like they are special/important and wait until appropriate times to talk to their friends/family. Unless it is an emergency, no one needs to be texting/talking on the phone in cars, store lines, in movie theaters etc etc. People gotta constantly call or text their friends and let them know what they are doing, where they are going, who they are with etc etc, every damn second of the day. YOU'RE NOT THAT IMPORTANT!!
Now don't get me started on Facebook.

I couldn't agree more. I hate it when we go out to dinner with a group of friends and as we sit down to start chatting or get our dinner, someone grabs their phone to send a message or make a call. It grates me!

That and people who don't leave a conversation after they answer their phones. I hate listening to other people talk on a phone. If it is a private call make it private.

Whatever it is, it can wait 'til you're done driving. After being in a coma for several months, my co-workers niece is just learning how to dress and feed herself...she was involved in a horrible car accident, texting while driving on the freeway. All it takes is a split second and your life is forever changed.

Don't do it.

Not only that, but when I go somewhere (like a restaurant like you describe) I also see like almost everyone else in the entire restaurant on their phone too. It's like everyone just can't put everything on hold and have time alone enjoying where they are at.

I don't know when it became cooler to talk to your mates who are not present or less rude to ignore the people you are with.

On topic again, was almost side swiped by a woman on her phone on my way home tonight. Needless to say I will not repeat the new vocabulary words I taught her.

I do not do it. Most times I will not even talk on the phone. Think of how many people have lost there lives over such a senseless act.

I luv all the people still trying to blame just the phone use on these accidents or near accidents. So many other factors are involved. Do you yell and post storys about near misses with a car that has 2 people in it?? If not, hypocrite. Studys have shown they are the same level of distracted as the guy on the cell phone is.
