When did I say they remove to make them unable to eat? I think youre the one. They use it for defense AND getting food. Not one or the other.

Venomous snakes will use it to take down prey. Its well documented. Often if a rattlesnake needs to take down fast prey like a bird or rabbit, it will bite it, let it wander off and die, and retreive it later.

Clipping a stingrays sting is like clipping a fingernail. BUT if someone where to surgically remove the stinger (I dont know how...), I would of course be against it, just as I am with venomoids.

Adalas, they can live without it in captivity. But it has been known to cause infections or some other such problem, and its painful. Not to mention itll probably get PETA bustin' down your front door.

I'm disagreeing on you that hots shouldnt have their venom glands removed but stingrays should have their stings removed. Thats all.

They don't if they are being fed frozen thawed. Now I don't know about hots being fussy feeders but it should be left there incase they become fussy.

I just personally feel, that its their method of defense and should be left there
