Do your fish have annoying habits?

Had to keep a 2'+ channel (my avatar) in the 125 in my room while I fixed the pond for a few weeks....annoying! Water all over every night, new heater every few days and he wasn't to fast so he'd chase the few smaller residents he didn't eat the first night around the tank and slam into the side. Lol. Oh and in hail rocks and spit them at the glass.....didn't sleep well those days. Lol

Almost 11 - It was my first double digit.

My Jack just starting spitting gravel at the side of the tank all last night, was hard to sleep.

When I didn't have a lid on my 55 were glass lids cats broke them. Every time someone went by the tank my catfish would splash with his tail. Or when I feed my pacu, and silver dollars cucumber or zucchini, the catfish will chase them away from it but has nothing to do with the food. He has surprisingly good aim. My BGK hides in the internal filter in his grow out tank. My Alvinia hates my albino tiger oscar and will push himself threw the other two just to get to him.

My Midas has developed the bad habit of biting.

With spring in the air my little boy grew up, went through a breeding type phase and now bites.

I have resorted to wearing one of those dorky up to the armpit gloves to protect myself!

I have a silver arowana that will always bash himself against the top of the tank when I'm about the feed him. It's the dumbest thing ever, and it's the same way EVERY DAY. You'd think he'd learn. I reach my arm up to remove the lid and BAM smashes himself, but when I actually drop the pellets in, he doesn't eat them as aggressively as you would expect.

Also, he tries to eat all tankmates, even those that are obviously too big too eat. :irked:

That's what she said.

My silver dollars like to splash water out of the feeding hole when they see me come into the garage. They think they have a better chance of getting my attention by putting water all over the car.
