you gotta make sure the connectors for the intake is completely submerged or air-tight..
If its not.. the fx5 is sucking in air which is causing the low flow and probably some gurgling noise from the filter..
I had the same problem while doing a water change. I didn't fill the tank back up completely and what is happening to you pretty much happened to me. It was frustrating the living sh*t out of me..
They are all the way in the water... where the pcs and the hoses connect its under the water level.
Ill have a better idea today if I hear anything funny or if the microbubbles started again. I did notice the water power was the same and thats what is getting to me... the bubbles just made more aeriation for me
