Murder by the way is by definition the deliberate causing the wrongful death of a human being.

Human being is by definition a member of genus/species Homo spapiens.

This excludes all fish (and most meats)

I think that depends greatly on your point of view, who are you to tell me what I should consider murder? In fact...who is Webster to tell me what I should consider as murder? I am as much a human as you or Webster so I can decide for myself what is murder. BTW...I don't think killing animals for food is murder, when you kill something for fun or for no good reason then maybe it's murder.

BTW, Cows ARE NOT fuzzy. You can get splinters from their hair.

Well actually guppy, murder is a flock of crows, hahahah, I just had tp say that.
Well, as a noun, murder is meant to represpent the unlawuful killing of a human by another human.

But you can use it as a verb, to kill brutaly or inhumanely.

This according to my favorite dictionary, dictionary.com

But these are definitions, take your own views

They have fuzzy heads :grinyes: I raised them untill i was about 18

Well I suppose I can give you that one. Calfs are kind of fuzzy as well. I don't think that constitutes them as fuzzy animals rather then just animals with fuzzy heads. When I think fuzzy I think kitten, rabbit, Dog etc.
BTW...I grew up spending 11 years living on a dairy farm. I have been working on a beef cattle farm for the last 6 years.

You know most people that I know that are vegetarians or who go to the extream to go full vegan are pompis ass's and feel that they are better then you because they only kill plants and are quick to tell you that they are a vegan and they wear it like a bage of honor.

Plants have rights too.... don't tell me you live a kill free life if you kill plants

I have a friend that is a vegetarian but she dosen't care if you eat meat and you don't even know that she's a vegetarian unless you ask.

I don't tell you that I eat meat because who cares?

Ok let the flaming begin :FIREdevil

some people belive fish keepers have killed off the coral in the oceans and have depleated speices from importing

Unfortunately , this is true . Miles and miles of coral reefs have been depleted in the Philippines because of the aquarium hobby and despite what ive read about teaching the fish collectors responsible ways of catching saltwater fish, i still believe that cyanide fishing is rampant.

I have seen facilities where SW fish are kept firsthand and it is not a pretty sight. If you think freshwater fish falls like flies after importation, its not even close. Mortality rates are high. Buckets and buckets of dead fish . This image probably traumatized me and probably a reason why i havent gotten around to setting up a sw tank.

We need meat to grow muscle!

...Straight after a meal, the rate of synthesis doubles, prompted by the arrival of a large amount of amino acids.

The rate of the breakdown of protein is highest in-between meals.

The difference between the two rates determines how much protein remains in the muscle.

But, in older animals - and, it is believed humans - the amino acid stimulus prompting synthesis is less effective, and the process slows down.

However, the breakdown of proteins is not, leaving older animals with less protein than their younger counterparts.

The researchers compared protein breakdown in young (eight-month-old) and old (22-month) rats.

They discovered that the slow down in degradation that normally follows a meal does not occur in old animals, so there is excessive breakdown.

But when the scientists boosted levels of one amino acid, leucine, the balance of synthesis and breakdown was restored. ...

BBC, full article

However, there is no medical, economical or any other necessiity to keep animals in the miserable conditions they are presently being kept. This alone would justify vegetarians and vegans if they needed to be justified, which they clearly don't!

That is why I don't keep salwater either, or at least a major factor in why I don't keep them. If I ever do go saltwater I will get only captive bred fish. This limits me a lot but all well...I would rather have a captive born clownfish then a wild caught triggerfish.
