Who cares what he did with a kiddie pool, thats got nothing to do with this.
It is hard being disabled, being independant. I would imagine a mental disability makes life a thousand times harder than a physical one.
They did actually put him into this situation by not supporting him like a proper family would and helping him get on his feet like proper family would.
They are now forcing him to be in this situation by robbing him blind for sleeping in one room that is shared by the family and buying his own food. Leaving him little money to live with and just about zero opportunity to have a proper go at serious saving.
When I got my first flat my family rallied round and helped me get the essentials even though I had most of it covered but they still offered to put money in. My parents told me if it didn't work out that I was welcome to go home and try again later. That is what a proper family does. That offer is still open now even though i have been married for 4 years and am ex-forces so I know how to be self sufficient.
It honestly seems like some of you aren't taking any of these things into consideration before you post your negative comments instead of sound advice.
Some of you should be ashamed of yourselves for seeing an opportunity to kick the disabled kid while he is down instead of seeing an opportunity to pass on some of your hard learned wisdom.
