Although I wouldn't mind picture of other cichlids, I would like to stay mostly with peoples' opinions and pics of dovii and umbee

i had the same dilema. too hard to decide... so i've got both growing out.
they are pretty hard to compare. it really comes down to personal choice. but if it came down to it, i'd have to keep my dovii.

for me atleast. my umbie usually just hides, and i dont really miss it

no, sorry, i can never get a pic of it in the tank. i usually pull my bigger fish out to measure them against a measuring tape,but the umbie is only 6-7", and like i said, its not really one of my prized fish or anything.

the colours, along with the personallity of the dovii give it the number 1 spot. HOWEVER, like i said before, i love both of them

yeah, ive never seen an umbie like that. almost makes me want to fish mine out and separate it to se if i can get that kind of results.
