Hello; Perhaps a read of a current thread on this forum titled "at waht point is a standard foundation not enough" fits with the discussion of this thread. It appears from the initial posts that a forum member has a 300 gallon tank in a rental and that has caused the corner of the house to sink. (Not clear if the tank weight is the only issue as there was a mention of rain affecting the house.) It also appears that they want to add a 700 gallon at some point (Not clear if the plan is to have the 700 in the same house.)
At some point the place will have to be fixed. The renter ?? The owner?? So the next time the owner rents a place, a rule against all tanks is made. Seems to me that it is better to follow the landlord's wishes up front or find a different place.
