Thanks Liz, I saw that sticky before but after looking it over again, I went ahead and dosed the tank with metronidazole.
i have my fingers and toes crossed for you... and my arowana that has not eaten in 6 weeks..BPags52;3486366; said:Well I just woke up and saw the EBJD near the top of the tank in a corner...haven't ever found it like that before. But when I turned the lights on it went back down to where its been spending most of its time lately (same spot in the last video i posted).
thanks very much.. how is the EBJD doing now?BPags52;3486698; said:I actually have seen clearish stringy poo before but it wasn't a regular occurrence so I didn't think much of it. But the last month or so the staple of their diet has been NLS Thera A 2mm pellets (which are a non-medicated anti-parasite food i believe). I was using it as a precaution (they got other foods too).
So you're saying I should re-dose the epsom salt without taking any out (through water changes) first? essentially doubling the current amount of epsom in the tank? Is there no danger to the other fish by putting this much salt in the tank? tankmates are silver dollars, another EBJD, and 4 plecos).
thanks for all the advice dwilder
edit: thanks Liz. goodluck w/ your aro!
