Ecuadorian "Green Terror" Group

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Agree with others.2 females is a bad number.
Once a pair form the other female will become a target for aggression.
You need at least three females, more even better.
I would not attempt the harem approach in tanks under 6 foot.
If tank space is tight, better to have a well bonded pair.

I agree, Stanzzzz7. I plan on giving them a 6' tank when I move in March. I will be growing these guys out in the 55 or a new 75 if needed, and then upgrade the tank during the move. If for some reason I cannot source a 6' tank or don't have room in my new place :( I will keep just a pair in the largest tank I can fit

very off topic here but i have seen a few green terror ppz on this forum that have active green terror threads now it would be cool if we all posted in one and talkd in that but it is also cool we all have our own so we can easily follow progress. I was wondering how do you subscribe to a thread here so i always get alerts on the topics i select.

so after a small issue with sunken belly/IPs, these guys are finally looking healthy and starting to put some size on

I think I found my dominant male, pictured below
what do you guys think?

These guys are definitely not ready to start breeding just yet... but this one has been displaying much brighter colors than all of the other Rivs in the tank, and is always first in line when I'm getting ready to feed
...really hoping this one is the male of the tank bc it is beginning to show some amazing coloration
