they all look female to me. How big?

The forehead says female all-day and there's no trailers on the dorsal or anal fins. The coloration is the only thing that says "male" and even then, the vertical stripe that goes through the black spot is visible, which usually isn't on males

Frank, those photos are all of one specific fish. The anal fins are starting to take shape and come to a point/develop trailers - I just couldn't get a good picture, but in person you can clearly see. This one is probably just over 3" now, and was 2" when I got him a few weeks ago...

If you look very closely, on at least one picture you can see the males sex organ starting to protrude. It is slim and sharp pointing,a females would be flat and blunt.
Only time will tell but I predict you will have a pair with eggs within the month.

If you look closely at this male you can just see the organ. It is slim and sharp like in Athletic amphs fish. The fish in this picture was about 3 inches at the time the photo was taken.

Stanz, you must have the eyes of Ted Williams. I see what you're referring to in two of the photos, I hadn't even noticed until you pointed it out. My only concern with this post was whether or not he was the male I had been hoping for, but I would be pumped if I came home to find that one had laid eggs. I've got no idea which female he has been showing off for, though lol
