I mean there are alotta people out there that see the Force and Jedi teachings as a religion and way of life. I dont think they would get offened at all. LOL
My whole take on this is that i'd only change it if it offended my grandparents. They are way more religious than i am and a respect everything they recommend. But if they thought it was koo, the only way to make me change it would be a gun and a bullet.
:headbang2

I used to have a little budah in my tank

my cichlids didnt like it so i took it out

and my brother used it for a beebe gun target

Maybe it would depend on what type of fish you put the Budah in with.

What if you put the Budah in with a nasty midas that would beat on it every day, then that might be offensive...;)

Burt:)

I was thought by my second grade religion teacher (went to a catholic school) to respect all religions. And to me that includes their religious symbols. It's all about respect. Treat others the way you want to be treated. If you want to be respected then you should respect others as well. I'm actually not religious myself even though I grew up in a predominantly religious family. If someone was to put a cross or virgin mary in their tank, I wouldn't mind at all. But if I happen to offend someone because I had a budha in my tank then I would gladly take it out my tank.

I know im going to offend with this but i dont care a whole lot.
Im not religious and think anyone who is has a few screws lose (or even missing), so i wouldnt change a thing and would laugh at anyone who asked me to change it. And before you comment i have no religious friends so dont have to worry about peoples opinions that i actually care about.
One question for the christians isnt it a sin to have graven images?? Which would mean the simple fact of owning a jesus statue would be bad anyway?

This seems to be more comman here in Australia, I don't know many religious people (full on who go to church and stuff, not just in it so they feel comfortable about death) I could probably count them with my fingers, wouldn't even need my toes.
But in America they seem very strung up about religion and the view that their way is the best way. Australians don't really give a damn either way (we're lazy) but Americans seem think everyone needs their help?

Sorry if anyone is insulted by my comments but this is what seems to ring true.

if it was a good friend of mine I would not put it in its that simple I find all the screw them comments to be really immature and can see were some people hold there friends at in there lives

that pretty much sums it up. it's a respect thing.
