Favorite Fishing

I like to fish for baby "Cocktail" Bluefish cuz when theyre around they are easily caught with spoons, tubes, spinners, etc. I like to see what lures I can catch them on and they give lively action on light tackle.
Black Seabass, because a 7 inch baby puts up a huge fight that matches a 12 inch Catfish.
Cownose ray. Put it this way: on 15 lb test, my reel in Florida is still in intensive care.
 
would love to find a good place to freshwater fish around here in Greenville, but i grew up pulling bluegills, crappie, bass, cats out of ponds. The tar river is right here and alot of people talk about fishing for shad. ( i always thought it was bait).

Now i really love to travel down to Atlantic beach and fish off of the rock jetties behind fort macon. catch blues, spanish, and have attempted drum but to no avail yet...but ill get em

it's more of a country thing. it is a blast tho! you tie a slipknot on the end of the fishin line, put it around the hole and when they look to see if its ok to come out, you pull the line tight. they take off and you reel em in! fun stuff. you do need special equipment tho, ie. lawnchair, cooler, ice for said cooler, beverages, etc...... and plenty of time:naughty:
 
mmm love the northern pike. but i do enjoy a nice fight from a bluegill on fly fishing

^ funny! I've been thinking about it. This year Me and a bud have been doing a lot of "chub" fishing with trout poles to feed the 300g. It's a blast! Kinda like fishing for natives..fighting the brush and what not.
 
I target large mouth bass and catfish, bu8t hey a fish is a fish and they're all fun to catch :)
