well its like the fly rod is so bendy that when you catch even the smallest bluegill they will put up a large fight for you, its almost like the rod has no torque on the fish so its all felt by you on the reel. but i got my tapered leader tangled up so now my poppers sink, maybe next summer ill get that back up and running again. i loved it alot, no bait, just you and the pond. good idea nitro lol, but if you go fly fishing you gotta make sure other ppl stand far away lol, that line really goes flyin'MDK500;2267358; said:One time I used my friends ultra light fly rod with a humpy as a fly and caught huge sunnies and perch.
