Haha. A few years ago, I went into a Petsmart and asked for a Jack. It took the employee a few minutes to net one, but they did. I then told them I wanted a few guppies. After they netted them all I asked if they would get along. She said yes. I said that's not what I read, so I said I changed my mind. She had to put them back in their tanks. I left.

Haha, I should've done that all day!

"can cichlids and jack dempseys live together"

So a guy came into our LFS last week and said he had a pacu that was "this big" (which was about 12" from hand to hand lol). Comes back with a 5 gallon bucket, with the pacu in it VERITCALLY with it's tail sticking out of the bucket!!!!! Turns out this fish was 24"+ and the employee had to pick it up out of the bucket because it was struggling to breathe! It subsequently shat all over his arm before he put it in their display tank.

I don't understand people

Today, I heard an employee say, "Ye
ah, those african clawed frogs are from the amazon!"

:duh: Honestly? That is beyond being ignorant about fish...

I always see employees at big chains spouting "Yup that gold fish will be alright in the bowl...yup no filter...just a few plants and some gravel." or "Yeah, the betta would definatly be very happy in that jar!" (and doesnt even say anything about water changes ._.)

I called my local petsmart to see if they have any clown loaches in stock since dthey are having the 1/2 off sale. When i asked "do you have any clown loaches in stock?" I got a rude toned reply of " what's that?" So i asked again, "Do you have any clown loaches in stock?" This time my reply was "listen buddy, if you think it's funny to call stores and ask if we have clowns in stock is funny..... it's not..... click?"

I was basically at a loss for words at this point haha

Hahahaha:D But if you wanted to really now the answer, you probably should've asked to speak to someone in the fish department. You probably just spoke to a cashier who doesn't know jack about fish from a hole in the ground.
