Yes, I was saying most of my fish are more then 10.99 and I am looking for a large tank for maybe an arowana. Sorry for the confusion.
When I first saw them I thought they where dyed....banjocat;2730557; said:I almost gave employees at a LFS a story to share. When I first saw green tiger barbs, I thought they were tiger barbs with some sort of skin condition. It didn't help things that they were mixed in with normal tigers. Lukily, I kept my mouth shut. I wouldn't be surprised if other people have made the same mistake. Not a good looking fish, if you ask me.
I have a friend that buys me ghost shrimp. and brine shrimp. She tells me she wants to keep them as pets in my tanks. Then she complains when my fish or sea horses eat them.......laxplaya8613;2692896; said:yea...i work at petco too...and according to the training video, people may want to buy a cricket or two, not to feed their lizards, but for pets.
Talk treats? They sound good....SOKO;2764070; said:This isn't a fish story. But the customers that came into the store I work at, seemed to be in their fifties. Anyway I asked the lady if she wanted some help, she says no because her friends are getting the fish they want. Now, I happen to see one of her friends come in at least once a week and at least one of them tries to be educated about the fish he keeps.
As I am taking out the garbage to the curb, I hear her ask them if they have ever ate talk treats. So one of the guys says "No, have you?"'
Now here's the thing. She actually responds that yes, she used to do it when she was little.
I know that dogs and people are not to far removed. So that even if she really ate them, she would not be effected. But still.
Dog treats, anyone?
