lol the best would have to be when i bought my jd and for fun asked the man how big my aquarim had to be, he replied by saying 1 inch per gallon, i then replied by saying so a 8 inch jd can live np in a 8 gallon? he replied with yes
This old man walks into my store and ask me for a fish by holding up his hand and making the letter "C" with his fore finger and thumb. "Do you have any of this kind of fish!?" I said, "I'm sorry I don't know what 'This kind of fish is' ". He rolls his eyes like I'm a total moron and looks all over my store and picks up a filter with an angelfish on the box and screams at me, "THIS ONE!!! THIS ONE A**HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I said, oh yeah, sure how many would you like?

haha i think they r possibly one of the most common trops aswell...they r everywhere!
Couple walks in and says they bought an Eclipse 5 gallon corner tank three days ago and the filter quit working. Explain that not only do we not carry replacements(anyone seen a shop that does) we are also out of stock on the tank so I couldn't even do a replacement. Suggest a different tank and they say they don't want to do that because there are fish in it already. They went to Walmart and bought an air pump for it. She asks if the fish are going to die. Expecting an outrageous number I ask how many fish. Just two she says. Baby oscars. So I say hope you have plans for a much bigger tank real soon. With a sneer and a very nasty tone she says, " I don't know why everyone keeps saying that, it's not like they're going to grow huge in a week." I say no they're not, but very quick and very messy in the meantime. The water quality in that tank will deteriorate quickly so without filtration and considering what you have they probably die. Off they storm to Walmart, hopefully never to be seen again.
