Well, today i finally applied for working at my lfs. I know a lot of the workers there and they know I'm knowledgable w/ fish so I'm confident that i'll get the job there. Hopefully i'll be starting beginning of july and can start contributing some stories.
I had one today, this dude walked into the shop like 2mins before closing and said hed be quick, well i had a bagged a few fish which i was buying for myself and he asked me to serve him, so he was pointing out fish in our wild caught african cichlid section and points out a load of random fish, and i tell him the price which puts him off a lot of them, he says they are to go into a 4' tank with a uaru, a bush fish and a polypterus i explain that the mix wont work, i explain all the reasons and he says hes done it before, and that it works blah blah
Long story short i talk him out of the other fish and he goes to another tank and goes is that a convict? its actually a young tilapia buttikoferi i explain yet again, size and temperament and in the end he leaves with a convict and we all went home late

had another money customer the other day, came in with a chinese container filled with golds and silvers, he needed like 10 bucks and i sat there and waited for him to count his coins.......

But this was different, apparently he comes in every week, this was the first time i served him. Kinda annoyed me, the other customers were looking at me, i just gave a lil shrug and a confuzed face lol.

I saw these yesterday in Petco. They were in the planted koi tank. They didn't look very koi like though. I don't know where they were prior to this, but wherever they were they had every single fin nipped off of them.

i got 30 feeder goldfish( for my stargazer, thats all he eats. if u have ideas on what else to feed him feel free to PM me) and they asked if they were pets. i think if some on orders 5 of them or so then they might be pets but 30? o well. and this is my 700 post!!
