one of my lfs's sells special perruno cats that will only get up to 10 inches in my 38gal tank.

At petsmart the other day i saw their Oscars labeled for 30 gallons.
See I don't understand the cards petsmart and meijer mark their tanks with. The LFS I work at has a full set of those little tags with every fish and invert you can think of. Each one comes properly marked with the maximum length of the fish on it. Why every store can't use these magical correct cards I'm not sure.
I was in lfs n I heard a customer ask the employee if they had any killer mongolian koi (the killer koi in the pond from Deuce Bigolow: Male Gigolow), this was today, I started laughing my a** off
because many chain stores dont give a crap, and the stores that dont use them usually have very intelligent employees.
some people are stupid lol.
It seems like ive been spending more time in other stores than the one that i work in of late. Hence the lack of stories.
I had a real asshat in the store today.
Coworker: (smiles) Hey Adam, do we carry and African Cichlids that eat feeders?
Me: No, (looks at customer) Why would you want a fish that eats feeders?
Him: Cause the fish I got eat nothing but feeders.
Me: Do you have any idea how bad feeding other fish to your fish can be?
Him: Well that's all they've ever eaten
Me: Well I really wouldn't recommend that at all. What fish do you have?
Him: I got one African Cichlid in a 20G, and a Red Devil.
Me: Yeah that's really bad, especially for the African.
Him: Well do you have any other fish that will eat feeders?
Me: No. (Lying)
Coworker: You should just go to PetSmart..
Him: Nah all they got are Oscars.
I walked away before I said something I would've later regretted and he left. That sort of thing just makes me sick. He didn't care at all how bad feeders were, and only wanted to buy another fish so he could watch them eat other fish.
