Besides goldfish ponds, he has something like 6 fish tanks, the biggest being 160gal, that he takes care of himself. He also takes care of 150 houseplants. Pretty cool, I think.

if so, i bet our hobby does wonders for him.

Customer: Can I feed these to my danios? *holding SANYU sinking pellets(3mm diameter pellets)*
Worker: These pellets sink.. I don't think they can eat them..
Then the customer goes back into the store and brought a bottle of pellets 7mm in diamter and asks again... LOL
I was righ in front of them I dare not voice out since I'm just 15... The boss might urge me to leave or whatever..
Then a lady came in and looked at the RES..
Lady: Do they need air pumps?
Boss: Yea they do..
Me: LOL?
Lady: Ok then, are there any fish here that don't need air but won't die?"
By this time me and my friend were out of that store and I was laughing..

-Its not fair to the fish;
-It's not fair to guys on the front-lines who have to deal with the uninformed;
...and it is definitely not fair to the guy or gal who has to sell the idiot the fish or lose his or her job.

a few days ago i went to take my oscar back to the store for in-store credit, since pretty soon i wont be home near as much as i am now (being a student sucks), and my mother cant care for him.
he is about 4-5 inches, which was halfway between where all of their stock was. most was either 6"-7" or 3"ish. i was saddened to watch him go into a 125 gallon with a 3 other oscars a little bit bigger than him. i was picking up some food and i overheard a customer talking to the worker about how he was stocking up a 250 and needed an oscar to go with his other two and that he was getting mine!
i went in saddened about giving up a good friend, but i'm ecstatic that he's in an absolute ocean (atleast from his perspective) now.![]()
