All right. Both of you need to calm down and you do not need a fourteen year old to tell you to do that. LP, my take on this is that while it may be entertaining to observe nature, respect should be given to the creature who just lost its life, you most certainly don't go to a funeral saying, " Haha! I wonder if its cloudy in heaven!"
Likewise, you just can't be sadistic by implying," Yea, you should have seen his guts spill! the lizard was squirming to kingdom come!"
lol. good point. cloudy in heaven, that was cleaver:ROFL:

sig worthy but im in a war!!:headbang2

seriously bottom? jeffery dahmer because I like to see nature in full effect?
Do u even have a grasp on what dahmer did? any grasp at all? i really dont think u do to equate feeding a lizard to a snake to becomeing dahmer. cant remember who, but one serial killer buryd kittens alive when he was little. even that isnt even close to this. NOT even close. U might want to read up on Dahmer if ur gonna equate anyone to that monster.

What he did is like goin to the fair, playing the goldfish game for fun, then feeding it to ur other fish.

Except the guy at the fair doesn't care about the goldfish , the OP got this animal because he said he would care for it no? if so there is something wrong with this.

it would like me advertising on craigslist that i take in dogs, cats or any other cute mammal for free and say i will care for them , then turn around and feed them off to my large snake.

Lep... that wasn't aimed at you. I know what Jeff Dahmer did. And I'm not comparing you in any way to him. My posts were never aimed at you. I have nothing against you. You never wronged me, I have no reason to. And I love your Caiman :grinyes:

And Jeffrey Dahmer started out killing, torturing, and dissecting animals.

Look, watching nature in action is amazing. Watching a Great White Shark take down a Seal is beautiful. It's sad, but it's beautiful. Watching nature play out its opera on its own. But for a human to put 2 captive animals against eachother so they can fight to the death is not nature, and is not beautiful. It's morbid and it's wrong.

i forgot to express my views earlier, but now i have nothing to add. it's all been said for me.

its all good man! i prob came across a bit harsh and i didnt mean to!
In his defence he didnt put them in the same cage to fight to the death. he put it in there to get eatten which is what happened. same as a rat, or a mouse.

Anybody who knows me knows im completely against animal cruelty. But personally i just dont see this as such. animals eat other animals(then i eat them) lol. this isnt feeding a dog to a cat, or something like that(though honostly i wouldnt hesitate to feed a horse to a lion, but thats prob because of my severe hatred and phobia of horses, lol)

I'm fine with using live animals as prey, but the intent in which it was done is wrong.

If it's like, a Liophis or a Vine Snake, that needs live Lizards, it's fine, but doing it for fun is a big no-no.

Exacly, and the prey animal has to be treated with respect.

I need to get off my high horse? look whos speaking. aint that the pot calling the kettle black?

Ur here calling people names(against MFK's TOS btw) and acting all high and mighty. dude calm down.

so he is keeping his herp in a viv. does that mean when it eats another living organism(like it normally would) that automatically makes it not nature? Animals eat animals. its a fact. my cats eats flys when they catch them. it is quite entertaining. does that make me blood thirsty?

your cat eats flies?... lol never heard of them doing that before

Agreed. I use crickets, mealworms, and nightcrawlers, and I used to use feeder fish for my Ribbon Snake, and I treated them with the same gentleness and respect as I do, my pets themselves.

My cat took down a HUGE Cockroach in my basement a few weeks ago. It was still alive when I found it, I swept it into a bucket and put it outside.

feeding pets to pets is stupid and ignorant, go to your local jail and drop the soap.
