Interesting and nice Jags...

They have larger mouths than any jags I've seen, although admittedly I haven't seen too many, almost dovii like. But they are very very placid, towards each other and towards other fish. I have a la ceiba freddie in the same tank that is being tolerated very well. I've never seen such a mild parachromis pair.

Well jaguars aren't common in the waterways here, although we do have tons of mayans, midevils, synspilum and peacock bass.

They look more predatory that way, maybe its an adaption so they can eat different foods in the Singapore canal

All jaguar I fished from different canals in Singapore all have a more elongated head profile.

Jaguar seem to suck prey into her mouth. When I feed my 10" jaguar last time, I can always hear a pop sound.

I'm wondering if the fact that they're wild caught has anything to do with the way they look?

But, you definitely had a nice catch!

They look really cool but I'd say they're from hybrid stock. The pattern is way off and if I had to guess I'd say that there is either motaguense or dovii
