Filter Pads as Replacement for Gravel

There are heavy sands available out there that stay on the bottom. PLus, since you dont really have much in the way of ornaments/flow blockers, you can lift the intake to the tubes a small amount just in case.

I'm not trashing on your baby safe fish tank, I'm just throwing out thoughts for future endeavors.

Thx for the suggestion.. I lol'd at the baby safe fish tank comment.. Well, it just so happens to be soft, bright & yellow.. :ROFL:
It's starting to build up small debris on the pads though.. wonder what the pads will look like after a week.. maybe from yellow to brown.. :lol2:
