I've got a similar set up and have been thinking about adding the hot water side as you have. Were there any issues you had to overcome?

Just trying to fit it into my master scheme of pipes under the tank and trying to make one solder joint without getting flux or solder into the water of the sump:)

Great job Mike, looks great and SO much less water maintenance. Jayden is huge man...what are you feeding him!? lol

He gets it straight from the tap LOL!

Pete, starting the gelatin diet for him next month as I am getting a bit jealous!

Awesome Mike! If you were closer I'd cruise by and check it out in person, I'm a visual learner.

(CJ, if you get this running at your house I'll make the drive out to see as well).

Cute kid and well...... you married up brother!

I def would like to try this, if the carbon will do the same thing as my prime. NICE job Mike

Give it a shot, what is the worse that can happen? Better yet, do not answer that.

Thanks Sean and yes I married up 3 tier

wow i cant believe u waited this long lol. i have all my tanks on drips

now u can relax more and enjoy your rays

the only problem about drips i thought was with city water u had to use prime, but if the carbon does the trick, then im gonna do this for my tank!

Heading to Lowes tomorrow to get the supplies! I have my 100gal sump, and my pothos plants, so now if i can do a drip, then this will just make my filter an even more power house!

Thanks Mike
