Will Juruparis do well in that small of a group? I know most geos prefer larger groups, but im wondering if they are different for some reason. I know the Tapajos are recommend to be at 4-5, but i know i cant support that long term
I have had no issues whatsoever keeping 1 or 2 jurparis but of course all fish are different none are a like. They prefer to be kept in groups but is not necessarily important and must have like discus.

75 is plenty for geo tapajos (red heads).

Get 6 of them, buy em from imperial tropicals, I bought from them and they are high quality and affordable, my dominant male looks amazing.

Can 6 fit long term?

Whatever you decide, I would avoid fish like jurupari, from the satanoperca family.
They are very peaceful but get large,10 to 12 inches depending on species. They also do best when they are the dominant species in the tank.
If you mix them with fish like red heads or firemouths, I imagine they would get bullied by smaller more feisty cichlids in the confines of a 75.
Personally from the choice of red heads or firemouths, I would do a species only set up and make those the only cichlids.
I would choose biotope correct tetras, catfish or livebearers to accompany them.
If your not worried about being biotope correct and wanted to keep your denisen barbs,a cooler water cichlid is what your after.
I would look at thorichthys aureaus, Thorichthys helleri and thorichthys socolofi.
All are relatively peaceful in groups, like cooler temps and a very colourful central American eartheaters.

Trust me, if it's between red heads and firemouths, go with the red heads, they are so much more fun to watch.

You should do 6 red heads with 4 angels and 1 bristlenose. Sand Substrate, centerpiece driftwood, and some slate and river rocks.

I have a beautiful piece of centerpiece wood purchased already, along with a bunch of smaller pieces for building blocks if need be when its time to aquascape. Ill attach pics below for reference. I just cant seem to sell myself on that many 6" fish, whether it be firemouth or red heads, in this small of a tank. Im not keen on cramming fish. As youll see with my big piece of wood, its got plenty of space to swim underneath as it only has 3 contact points. However, I think when either fish gets bigger, they wont be able to fit and that limits a lot of the tank. Haha maybe Im over analyzing. Ive been scared off the Tapajos by threats of being a slave to water changes and my fish getting HOITH.

Yeah Stanzzzz7 Stanzzzz7 is probably the very last person to give you bad stocking advice on this site, if he says 6 fit in a 75 gallon then I would believe him. Seriously, if he thinks it's okay- then it will be fine.
