Hello everyone. I am in the process of building my first fish room. It is nothing special but im extremely happy with the set up. I'll post a photo as it sits now. The basics however are 2"x4"x10' board and cinder blocks. Simple HOB filters I already have for filtration and mounted shop lights for lighting. One tank will be planted so I have a light for that. The stand will house 2 55g tanks, 2 20g tanks and then either 1 30g long or 2 10g.

Here's what I know:
-One 55g will house my juvenile 3" Jaguar cichlid. He will have that tank to grow out alone.
-The 2 20g tanks will be used for breeding. I have a pair of convict cichlids for one and a pair of Apistogramma Cacutuoides for the other.
-I will have fry tanks set up elsewhere as well.

I currently have:
-125g with 2 large Oscars, a Geo, a Pleco, a Bichir and a Featherfin
-55g Community with an angel, blood parrot, uaru pair and some smaller tetra and cories.
-29g grow out for my 3" Jardini Arowana (eventually moving to the 125 where I will move most of those fish out, with a 225 in the future plans)

Why I need all of your knowledge!
-I have the available 55g. What do I do with it?? I've never had an African cichlid tank, would love to eventually have a discus tank if they weren't so expensive, but am open to ideas! I could even do another solo fish to highlight! Thoughts?

-I also would like your opinion on if I run the 30g or 2 10g up top? If I do the 10s I'd use one for the Apistos leaving me 1 10 and 1 20. What should I use those for? Or do I run the 30g long. What do I do there?

Hopefully I didn't lose you by rambling so much! I'm excited to get this all up and running. Any stocking ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Also... the picture makes it look boring... it'll be better! I promise!
