Hey MultispeciesTamer, when I wanna do some peaceful fishing I
generally would do it at a place like this where theres knowone
else to bother me or disrupt my fishing by loosing a limb to a gator
or get swallowed by a python or something. You would think
it hard to find such beautiful lakes with knowone else around,
especially in Florida but it's quite easy. Most times when I'm in
Florida, everyone else is working.

Even when fishing these above lakes where people have there homes
most of them are at work, or out doing whatever old retired people do.

And it's only one or two racist mules of like two lakes and only one lake is
any good anymore - over fishing by a guy that lives on the lake I guess.

good that you have a retreat but at the dam and on the river there isnt another spot that really holds fish. So my choices are fish with all the crazy people and catch fish or go else where and be alone and catch no fish. But I have been looking for some new areas down there that hold fish but there not easy to come by.

WTF... you guys talking about Yak, a Yak to me is a woolly four legged beast that has strong musk oder to them. I don't know what you dudes have been drinking - Yak Peee?

Now if your referring to Cognac it's a Frence word, well Cognac is a fine drink for people with descriminating taste, that pays great respect to grapes instead of the insult that wine gives them. Remind me if we ever meet to give you one of my other business cards that says: aficionado of Fine Tequilas & Cognacs. I rarely drink anything less than 25 year old with Cognac as a general rule. I am always willing to try something new but I stay with OX, Cigar, or Napoleon grade Cognacs. Just so you know just like any other liquor product knowone seems to be able to make a standard. I have had some very good VSOP but I preferre older smoother well rounded Cognacs with alittle bite is sometimes nice too.

Now Tequilas don't get me started.

Remy Martin 1738 im my opinion is the smoothest cognac on the planet. Only one I'll say is better is Remy Martin Louis XIII but its 1,500 a bottle and 150 a shot at the club.

Ok what's your point?, Louis XIII is very fine Cognac in deed but there are many many others out there that are either just as smooth or smoother or have far more character than even Louis XIII and yes some cost far more while other can be had for less. Since you go to the clubs, try Hennessy XO, I've seen it for $149 a bottle so at the clubs/bars shouldn't be much more than $25~$30 a shot.Hennessy also makes Paradis which runs bout $700 a bottle or bout $90~$100 a shot and then there's there Hennessy Cognac Richard $2,100 a bottle killing Remy's Louis XIII in price and in taste. Also try Pierre Ferrand Cigar $80 or Pierre Ferrand Cognac Selection $140. Another stunner is XO Cognac Frapin, this company makes 2 XO your looking for the one in the large faced round bottle with Gold trim at the bottom not the regular cylinder shaped bottle. This company even make a very nice VSOP but the XO sells for between $100~$150 normally $150, big discount places in Florida carry it for $100. Problem with PF & Frapin is not many bars will be caring either of these.

I've had Cognacs and Tequila that range from $40 a bottle to $2,300 a bottle and many in between not all all them yet, I'm trying. Remy is far from the best. Most of what Remy makes is low end cognacs. Pierre Ferrand makes several bottles in the hundreds of dollar range, Remy 1738 is I like $90 above that Remy XO, then comes Louis XIII that's it!

Keep in mind price has very little to do with taste. Though it can be a good indicator.

Here's a little to help stay on topic:

This fish was just sitting in the little pocket of water behind me, tossed it a
7 inch worm, you can see the muck I had to drag it out of still all over the fish.

well fishing was rough today, put it this way I left me spot cussing at these dumb people in a boat. I was fishing there first, and the come up and drop back there lines into where I was fishing. I snagged them every cast because of this. The last time he reeling in he said to his buddy who asked if he had a fish "no I have that dumb kid again". Well I blew up on him telling him he has the whole dang river to fish I was there first, etc. I ended up leaving before I did something I shouldn't, I was tempted to just start chucking rocks.

Another reason I use Berkley's Power Pro line would have snapped or cut through there line everytime. But they are go, it always happens your fishing in your own little corner of the world and bam dumb and dumber show up as if you were fishing in a bucket and without even asking wanna jump in where your at.

This is one of the reasons I don't go Salmon fishing in upstate NY, I hear it's shoulder to shoulder in the areas where they charge to get on the water. Can you imagine the common ground free areas. Heck I got an uncle in NC that carries a shotgun in his boat, I'm dam must be some real big Bass around these parts. Nope that's for the knuckles heads that always show up. :nilly:

And they closed my Thread on Fine Tequilas and Cognacs and people with refined taste, but they still have those threads on stretching and piercing
body parts. Well I guess theres no accounting for taste. :irked:
