I am so jealous right now. I think it's about 10 degrees in Long Island...

Yeah I know I was so hoping that you would be here when I was and that we could hook up for a Bass Fishing Trip or for Exotics since Jersey Jack doesn't like to do anything other than Bass, Bass and more Bass all the time.

I gotta break this guys balls to get him to agree to go out into the gulf which thankfully he has agreed too this trip. He even has another 2 buddies here that love saltwater fishing and both have boats but he hates going out saltwater fishing so he always passes on offers. But not while I'm here. Shoot I know where there are bodies of water that have huge Pacus in them. I have caught most freshwater fish that live in Floridas waters, except for the real exotics that one needs to know where to find them. Not Oscars, but Snakeheads and Aro's, Pacu's as I only know one place that I've seen one.

Well maybe next time dude, at least this time around I should be meeting up with this guys that I have been missing. I know his mother-in-law and she says he loves to fish but we aren't normally in Florida at the same time. Dude all I can say is enjoy the snow and I hope that the city gets a few more inches before I get back. I'll caught a few for you too.

This is do to the fact the PB love it hot, water temp drops below 70 degrees and these fish turn off completely, where as LMB only become sluggish in cold waters and won't chase much of anything. But they will feed if hungry and the lure is run or dropped on top of them. The last 2 big beast I caught was caught on topwater, these fish exploded on the Spro Frog, but only after the frog ran over them.

Yes thats true its like they simply STOP when air temp for several nights drops below 70. Temps are getting warmer now and it was 70s today and think they will climb back up now.
Funny how PB must have heat as the water temps Jan/Feb average mid 70s yet they dont hit much during these months. Surprised they adapted at all in Miami.

The fish by canal by office were biting we caught same ole but its fun to catch during the week.

I did not know even LMB slowed down granted not like PB who simply stop feeding. Going to pick up a Spro Frog thanks.

No, they taste great!!

But like I always say, if every body was to release all bass landed, freshwater fishing would be WAY better. That's just my opinion and I stand by it!!
