Wow never heard of that. Would have thought something like that would scare fish off as sounds gaudy and unrealistic looking.

SPOTS FISHED-1

TIME FISHED-1.75 HRS

FISH LANDED-6

Today my wife peeed me off so i left the house to go do some work on the boat. After i got done fixing a couple of things i decided to go around the corner and get some fishing in before it got dark. DONT GET MARRIED!!

On my second cast i had a massive blow up on the buzzy. So i threw back in the same direction and BAM landed a small CP. Next fish came as i was bringing the buzzy threw some lillys. I went on to land 3 more small bass and a decent size CP all off the buzzy.

Pictures of todays fishing outting and some of my brothers tank i took yesterday. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol I think some types are smarter than others.
I find cichlids in heavily fished canals "smart" as far as not striking hooks and looking at boppers like its a warning symbol and have seen bass follow lures without striking like they are analyzing it to see if its real.

Perhaps they are just smarter than I am lol which is fine but some do seem to have some ability to "reason" .

Try trout fishing in a well fished area- trout are not stupid. Have had them grab bait and the minute they feel the line they spit it out. Have also watched them roll a baited hook along the bottom to knock the bait off- definitely had to think a little to do that (was paste power bait). Some fish are not as smart (gouramis come to mind) but wild fish do have to think or they become dinner for something else.

Fish are smart but when it comes to eatting they are like men drank, will strike almost anything.

The bass are smarter then people think tho, cause once their eggs hatch the go into what i call fry protecting mode. I have seen the bass pick my worm up but not swallow it and just move it.

There are lots fly fishermen that come here to fish peacock bass and have heard same thing about trout . Far from stupid they seem to "analyze" the fly/lure.

Its possible that for every one you catch few might chase or go near your lures but not strike .

I find the big bass around here on the ball and wont blindly strike at lures. Its like they know its a lure. Makes me want to break my rod over my leg and scream lol.

The weather here has been rain all week but hope to soon go after non peacock bass .
