FISH LANDED-10 Total/ME-6/NEPHEW-4

Well after doing more work on the trailor :irked:, i decided to take the boat out before it got dark. My nephew was the only one getting bites at first cause he was using a crank bait. I rarely use crank baits but today he was able to get 3 bass before i caught any. My first fish came on the buzzy and also the second one also. My next fish was caught by what i call text book fishing. I had just threw out the 10" u-tail when i seen something eat on the shoreline, so i picked up one of my other poles with a spinner bait tied on it and threw it in that direction. I didnt get two turns of the reel before the bass straight murdered it. I went on to catch three more small ones :irked: and my nephew caught one more before we call it a day.

Nothing big was caught today but ha atleast we caught something!!!

Well i went back to a private pond for a little bit first cast I have a spro bronzefrog on I cast it out start moving it and set down the rod to look in my tackle box for my booyah buzzbait. When I pick it up and start reeling I feel my line start moving but i lost the fish second cast I casted way out and got slack in my line and had another fish take off with my bait but i couldnt catch up in time and it let go. After fishing a while longer i switched to my buzzbait and caught 2 small ones in like an half hour period so I walked over to one edge of the pond then bam i get a hit and I catch a bass. The next cast same thing and i land another bass. I take one more cast and hook into another fish and land it. This last fish was the biggest fish of the day 1 pound =P. Its was getting dark so i went home.

I am in awe right now. Went fishing today and while I was hunting frogs I let my friend use my pole, he uses hotdogs and lets it sit. I come back and see the pole get a bite. He starts reeling it in and something HUGE jumps and makes a giant splash. I tell him to be careful because my pole has mono on it and not braid, he backs off a little and we see the fish jump 2 feet in front of us. This bass was a MONSTER(for new jersey) It put the picture of that 5lb bass that my friends ex girl caught to shame, this thing could quite possibly be 6-7lbs. He got too excited after the second jump and yanked the pole in an attempt to get the bass close enough for me to grab it, bad idea. The line snapped and the beast got away, I'm still upset over it haha. Also we saw a grass carp that was at least 18 inches long and fat as hell swim by, but hes nothing compared to the monster that got away :(. At least I know theres some big 'uns out there

Cant beat the buzzy right before dark "Tamer"

"J" its just a fish story now but its a good one tho!!!
