Na, i dont keep any fish. Well im lying i will keep some crappie once in a while but since i dont fish for them i dont catch many of them. I have heard that the yellow perch does taste good tho.

Do u think yellow perch taste better then crappie?

Do a bit of research on Webster lake. It's named one of the top 10 in the country. DNR stocks the hell out of lakes in that area.

I'm not saying that you're wrong, obviously those fish prefer cooler water that must have frozen your brain, but I am going to say that the little emoticon makes you look like a fool (not that you need much help).
hmm ive never fished there so I cant say for sure, But I still say your best bet for a lunker musky is to go north. Not that theres not fish in that lake I seen lot of pics but only so many fat healthy ones. I seen alot that were sickly and thin and not healthy maybe from over poputaion? idk. plus a few of the guides that fish that lake fish elsewhere at certain times of the year, where as you can fish for them year round in other bodys of water. Another good musky lake is St.Claire in MI.

Well my first job I the day fall though, so now I'm being paid to wait. Anyway I never seen anybody catch a musky in person. The only contact I ever had with them was last year.

While bass fishing in mercer county lake with big bruh and my nephew in are old lunked boat. We were in a very small finger of the this 275 acre lake and I said to them there isn't any type of life back here. No snakes, bluegills, frogs I mean nothing was there. Shortly after I said that my nephew using a 4ft ultra lite pole with 30lb braid on it casted out a 10" tube that stays on top of the water. Out of nowhere KABOOM something came up and murdered the tube, when I turned to look all seen was a flash of orange. My first throught was a carp but carp don't hit lures. Needless to say when the fish finally surfaced I seen a fish half the size of the boat. We all where in shock at that point, after getting the line from rapped the motor we had to chances to grab the fish. The first time nobody moved, the second time we had this musky right beside are little jon boat and I tried to grab it's tail but it was to big plus he was slimmy as heck while i was tring to do that big bruh was tring grab him from the front but he was shaking like a pit bull. He eventally cut the line with his teeth. It is the crazyest thing I ever been through while fishing. To make things even crazyer that was the only bite we had all day

muskies have sustained territories so it might be still there.

Yeah I've heard that but we went there Saturday and we didn't see any signs of the monster but we did catch a few little bass out of to finger

Webster is a numbers lake but there is a chance at a 50 a few get caught each year. The webster quides fish up north in the summer when temps hit the 80 degree mark. Most of us stop fishing for them due to high mortality rates. I will say if your looking for a mid fifty then yes head north.

Personally I'll take fishing for the 48 inchers since webster is only 2 hours away for me instead of driving 6 hours to fish vilas county.

The fish are generally healthy and not over populated. The shad population is huge. I've seen skinny fish up north as well. Most of the skinny fish I see are post spawn and summer fish. Once the temps drop the fish feed heavy and they are pigs.

Yeah I would do the same thing if it was close but if you were planing a trip I would go "north" for a week or so.
