FISH LANDED-4-Total/ME-3/BIG COUSIN-1

Today my big cousin asked me to take him out on the boat. I wasnt going to cause i was tired as hell but i gave in. I had alot of blows up but i only caught two small bass, then i landed a big CP it weighed 3.2 pounds :headbang2. Big cousin was able to get one small bass on a spinner bait.

When we first got there he was using this big behind saltwater pole but i gave him one of my poles to use cause i couldnt stop laughing at him.

Not too many fish landed but i had alot of fun taking a novice bass fishermen with me.

Well again today somebody called me and wanted to take the boat out and yes i gave in.

So since the lake is right around the corner from my house i returned to the same spot as yesterday. I banged a small bass like ten minutes into fishing. My boy i call him "pan man" cause all he really uses is these small jurk baits. He was killing the crappies and catching small bass. The biggest fish of the day would a been a nice size CP but he jumped off as i was swinging him in the boat :irked:. He had ran down on the buzzy but didnt strike at it so i did a figure eight and jurk it a few times and BAM he jumped right on it. We kept four crappies and as we speak they are already being digested in are bellies :headbang2.

Didnt catch anything big today but we were catching alot. I had to miss way more then i actally caught. I had a really good time today :headbang2.

at least you got biting fish where ur at. there isnt crap here where i am in illinois, and if there is, they r few and far between, and you cant keep much cuz of this. id go like a minute from where i live to a nearby river and take smallmouths, but the river is dirty and im afraid that they would be too. plus they would have to be quite large.

why dont you go catfishing? The smallmouths are done bitting here in southwest Mi and have moved to deeper water/lake Michigan.

i would but i cant legally keep them and have breakfast. the smallmouths here like to hit nightcrawlers in the middle of the summer
