I don't really know what the appeal is lol. Smell could be a factor because I left them to sit out in the sun in the package for about a week; they smelled pretty gross but the fish loved 'em.

I use live bait or food in my pond because it gives my fish a meal and gives me some fun lol. Otherwise, I usually use lures unless fish are being especially finicky that day.
