FISH LANDED-1 :irked:

Well as u can see i i woke up and did a post at 8:22. I was bored so i got up and took a 15 minute ride to my Monroe spot to do some casting in the dark.

Once i got there i grabbed two buzzy's,one pole and my head lamp. I had a few blow ups but was only able to bang one small one :irked:.

Didnt have a very good outting but ha "you cant win them all but we all canted lose".

my target species are usually crappie, perch, or bass.

but ill catch whatever the hell i can.
im sticking to a closed reel, its what ive always used. i love how simple it is.
then sure, go with that one, always liked zebco for those reels.

I went fishing yesterday at Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park; caught the pictured channel catfish, a 14 in. hybrid striped/white bass, and a bunch of small bluegill. I only kept the catfish; it now lives in my pond.

SPOTS FISHED-2

TIME FISHED-4.5 HRS

FISH LANDED-15-TOTAL=ME-10/BRUH-5

Today we took it back old school and walked down the D&R canal to are favorite river inlet. Its a bout a mile and half walk down to the inlet but youll never notice it cause you can fish the canal the whole time while you are walking.

My first fish was a decent size rock bass that jumped on my senko seen as it hit the water. After that i banged a few small SMB and LMB. Big bruh landed a few LMB and one CP, he wasnt able to get any SMB and the only thing differnt was he was using a black buzzy and i was using a white one.

We finally made it down to the inlet and walked down the hill to the river. We walking in the water for about 2 hrs and all we came up with was 3 little bites.

Didnt land anything in the river or anything big out of the canal but i had alot of fun!!!

I cant upload anymore pics :irked:, why not ?

i still have one of my older rods with that type reel and it works, just havent used it in a long time, i prefer spinning reels, yet my spinning reel has a big rats nest in the line right now :( one of the downsides of those reels.

No pics until next week but soon as they finish upgrading ill add pics. Have a safe weekend to everybody out there!!!

my dad uses spinning reels, he often gets alot of backlash and "rats nest" also. The jigs we use for crappie and perch are just so light, that it seems to happen to everyone we talk to. i have never had this happen on my zebcos despite how much the lure weighs.

The only reels that ever give me a birds nest are bait casters. They're tricky. Spinning reels never give me any issues unless they have too much line on them.
