One was a decent 15"er and the other one was a 12"er.
That helped me alot, then my co- worker pis"" me off, wat a life.

ive always used zebcos and have never been disappointed, my reels are getting old and with as much fishing as ive been doing, i feel like i need an upgrade

I could honestly see myself going back to using a closed face reel. My only issue is that when you get a big fish on the line, they can just keep taking out line and youll never get them in the boat. Spinning reels you can stop the fish and play them out, when I hear my friend cranking in all I hear is the winding of his closed face reel. Although, I have yet to figure out the tension on my ultralight spinning reel setup so it doesnt take out line on a heavy load.cichlid fiend;3285017; said:Yeah I'm on board with you there cause I have a brand new bait caster that I tried to use twice. I think out of both tries I got one cast without a birdnest. I put it up and haven't tried it since. It's just seating in the "bass bus" collecting dust, everytime we take the boat out I look at it and say HELL- no I aight messing with that crap
Outside of maybe flipping, spinning reels- ALL DAY
they r simpler to operate is all.MultispeciesTamer;3285772; said:spincast (closed face) reels are not much different then using a baitcaster the only thin is you got to use your thumb when you cast.
