Didnt have to work today , so i went over to dicks sporting goods and grabed a few things. After returning i decided to take the boat out "Peddie lake". I have put this lake on the HARD to fish list.

I was able to land 6 little ones but i missed a decent one. I stayed pass dark to get in some pratice for Fridays night fishing tournament.

I have to build a live well, does any body have any advice on how to?

Kinda slow day but i still had fun!!!

Take an old cooler and buy a bilage pump. there you go homemade livewell all you then need to do is rig up the pump.

Yeah it pumps the water out but you still need it, heres another option to use as the main Livewell, this link also contains an aerating kit

Thanks boss but wally world saved the day!! I picked up a 70 quart or 70 gallon cooler and a pump with a stem that spits the water back out.

i was up in new york visiting family...decided to hit up lake cayuga for a couple hours and only got one fish..yellow perch

also pictures of the lake and a cool waterfall that is actually 10 feet higher than niagra

NY has stunning wild areas as those pics show and lots of them. People think of NY city when you mention NY but the wild areas in the state are amazing

Today was my first day back to work and i was super tired but my nephew called and said "take me fishing", so i gave in and took the baot out to "Etra"

I think cause of the high water temps the buzzy wasnt effective. Once i seen that i switched over to rubber. I landed 2 on the "dinger" and then switched over to the 10" u-tail and with that i was able to land 2 more. As we were making are rounds i told my nephew to throw in front of me cause i seen the water ripple. He throw his spinner bait and a small CP jumped right on it, I then said to him "say thank you". See when im fishing and the water is calm i pay close attention to water movement. My family or the person im fishing with always say that i dont no what im talking about but i have proven myself plenty of times by either catching the fish myself or telling them to throw right over there. I went on to land one more using the buzzy and my nephew landed 3 more before quitting.

The days are getting shorter and thats a good thing for bass fishing cause that means fall is coming. Fall feeding is the BEST time to land your BIGGEST bass of the year. Here in NJ they have to eat very heavy to make it through the long cold winter and best believe i will fish for them until the water frezzes over.

Nothing big today but i still had fun!!

To bad the fish your nephew caught gets to big for a tank (unless huge tank) because its a great looking species of fish.

Picked up my other brother(Jason) today and took the boat out to 'Etra".

With water temps in the high 80's the right before dark bite has been very slow lately. My first action came when alittle one ran down on the buzzy but it was able to get off. After that i was to LAND 3 little ones on the popper. My brother was just out there messing around and wasnt able catch anything.

A slow day but it was still fun just to be out there on the water!!
