FISH LANDED-I-5/Nephew-2
The New Jersey D&R canal is 70 miles long, yesterday i fished Lower Ferry rd to Wilbertha rd. Today we fished it at Whitehead Rd for all the Jersey people.
I landed a small CP on my first cast. i went on to land four little bass after that. My nephew(Kyle) first fish was a big Rock Bass and his second was a small bass.
On the way back to the car we came across some spanish dudes fishing on the bottom. They had a decent size catfish on the shore. My nephew asked me "about how big do you think it is", i replied by saying 4lbs. When i weighed it, it came in at 4.6.
Nothing big today but ha atleast we caught something!!!

After work I tried to get this mess off my face but the wait was to long for my taste, so I picked up my nephew and showed him two spots he didnt know about.
The first spot is called "Grover mill pond" I've did like two post before from this lake. About five minutes into fishing I landed my first. Then I walked across the street to where the water falls off at and made a cast from the bridge. A decent 12"er jumped right on the buzzy!! I then went back to the main lake and wasnt able to get anything so my nephew and I went back to the pond where the water falls into. By that time I decided to try the popper out for alittle while. I throw it right by a big tree sunk in the water, it hit the water and I let it seat for about 5 seconds then twitched it one time and again I let it seat for about 5 seconds but this time before I could pop it again a nice 2.4 came up and grabbed it. We fished for about another 15-20 minutes without any action, so I told him I want to show you this other spot in Cranberry.
This body of water I have did a few post about before also. Its called "Brainerd Lake". By time we arrived it was dark so we only did a quick half hour. We both were able to land one each(mine was bigger!!). I banged mine on the buzzy and his came on the spinny.
Not the greatest day ever but I hit the 2lb club!!

P.S.- Im including picture of the catfish I weighed for the spanish dude yesterday that I forgot to include in update, It was 4.6 for all that missed update.

Sorry to hear that, I wish it was a market for them cause I could make a killing. You would of loved the little one I had on two days ago, it was only about 4"s.

Today we took the boat out to the main lake in the "Aussunpink" system!!
We both landed one quickly. I landed 5 more before big bruh seen anymore action. His next one was a decent 14"er. Then he landed a big CP. I then landed another small one
. His next one was a nice 3 pounder. I went on to land one more small one. Right before we got off the water Bruh landed a decent 14"er.
A dedent day but i wasnt able to land anything of size but ha i cant kill them everyday!!

Well today I went from Lexus to Hyundai by taking the old lunker boat out. I had to cause 'Grovers Mill Pond" doesnt have a boat launch and from the shore it looked like a wet dream!!
I woke up at 6 and was fishing by 7:30am. I banged three on the buzzy real quick. The water was very calm, good thing too cause I had to row cause the stupid trolling motor prop stripped out. By the time big bruh came out there at 12:30 I had already landed 8. When we quit at 2:30 I had landed two more and he wasnt able to land any.
Nothing big but I know they are in there, so stay tuned!!!
P.S-The pigeon fleu in the boat while I was waitting on bruh to show up!!
