nice catch man...I have yet to shake the dust off of my rod and reel yet...what'd you use to catch 'em...I tend to stick with a motoroil colored berkley plastic worm with a 1/16 ounce bullet...largest I caught was a 7 1/2 pounder last spring...sad thing was it was one of the first bass I caught in the season which kinda made the rest of the season disapointing lol...but it was the largest I have caught up to date which I def. don't mind.

My brother and i went lake hopping today.We were able to fish at 8 different spots.Out of the eight bodies of water we fished i checked the water temperture of the first two between the time of 10am & 12 noon.they checked in at 39.7 and 45.5.Neither spot produced a fish.Some spots were not fished long,just jump outs to see wat the water was looking like.
I wasn't able to get a bite today, but my brother caught three fish.His first fish was a nice two pounder and second was a 3.7 pounder, both fish caught at the same spot.After we bounced around aliitle we came to the last spot of the day,were i came across some kids catching wat is to believed to be "shinners".It really amazed me cuz i had never seen them caught before.So we fished the run off pool where the kids were for a quick second and then crossed the street to the main lake.This lucky SOB went rite over there and caught another bass.A small 10 incher but heck i never got a BITE through the whole day.All in all it was a good day of fishing.
Every year my brother and i do a fishing contest.We count all bass 15"s and pickeral 18"s or better as keeper fish.As we speak im down 2 to 1,cuz when the day started out it was 1 to 0 but as you read above he caught two keepers today.
BTW-Im working on my fifth year in a row for the contest!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to a new lake yesterday. I had two pickeral's on but they both got off.I was using a husky jurk bait perch color.There was three duded on a boat catching pickeral and yellow perch and they were using rattle traps.
This concludes yesterdays fishing trip.Now im about to leave and go see if i can catch something today.Today's high will only be 45 but im still going out and try.

So i went fishing again today!! The bass and pickeral are very skeddish,specially with water temps in the low 40's.I was at this lake around the corner from my house,that is pretty good for early season fishing and i wasnt getting any bites.There was this old guy out there that i always see.So im fishing but not getting anything,and this old guy is catching crappie's like ever other cast,so i switch to a crappie set up.I caught like 15 crappie's in a half an hour.I really dont keep fish, but in my opinion crappie are the best tasting freshwater fish on the planet.So i kept 4 desent size crappie's.Came home and cleaned them up and as we speak they are already in my wife's and i bellies.My boy JOSA came out there with me after awhile,he was able to get two bass.Well this concludes my fishing trip from today.
