Those are huge. Even the cat was caught on live bait? If so I imagine worms?

nope, not worms. i was fishing lmb using live crawdad and it took it. not unusual, cats love crawdad dead or alive

I just missed the biggest bass of my life, I'll tell the story in todays update.

i know what you mean bro. the striper in my first pic was caught off a snagged shad at Lake Havasu. from Nov to March they let you snag shad. you snag 'em and cast the bleeding, twitching shad back out and wait for striper to take it.

i once had a big lmb at Havasu while fishing stiper, must've been around 10 pounds, it surfaced and came right at me, didnt' jump and it had it's mouth wide open. huge, like you can fit your fist in it's mouth, then when it got about 10 feet of me it darted right under me. I was fishing off a dock and line broke. if you fish these guys a lot, the typical size are like 3 pounds to 5 pounds but you know when you got a real lunker on the line.

TIME LANDED-9

MOON CLOCK:
Good times-430am-630am & 5pm-630pm
Excellent times-1030am-1pm & 11pm-2am

Tried to be on the water before the sun came up but as asual i over slept. The journey begun at 7:30.The first fish came at 7:45. Shortly after i got a phone call and founded out that i have to go do something by 12:30. So before i left at 11 i was able to land four more. I wasnt going to go back, cause for one the water was very muddy(coffee), and it was getting hot. Decided to go back anyway. When i returned there was a guy there fishing, so he walked up and said are you going out by yourself and i replied yes. Once he got closer we both said the same thing "i know you". It was the same guy from the Allentown spot that helped us get the "bass bus" unstuck. So after i sent (Dennis)him to the store we were back at it, at 12:00. I banged a small one quickly. Here goes the FISH STORY. So we're just casting and casting and to the left of the boat a HUGE (7-9lbs)bass eats a bluegill at the top of the water. I heard the splash and looked but all i seen was its tail(HUGE). So i throw the buzzy over there, nothing.
Dennis says "man that fish is long gone. I dont pay him no mind and pick up my pole with a spinner bait on it and throw back out in the middle where the fish was. It was around a 70 foot cast, so im reeling and what do you know BAM fish on. Pole was bent SUPER hard and i said to Dennis "this is a monster" but just as the fun begun, it ended with the monster jumping and throwing the lure :irked:. That would of probaly been the biggest of my life :irked:. I was very upset until 12:58 when a 4.1 pounder straight killed the buzzy!! I went on to land 2 small ones after that and Dennis was finally able to land his first(CP) before quitting at 3.

I told ya'll that i took the lake(Etra Lake) by my house as a challenge. Today I finally landed something bigger then two pounds. I will continue to put pressure on this spot cause supposedly the state record is swimming around in this fairly small body of water(19 acres).

Muddy water, who cares i hit the 4lb club today and lost the biggest of my life!!!

It was a good day!!!!!!!

FISH LANDED-ME-5/BRUH-2

CONTEST UPDATE-35-18(Im up)

Put some more pressure on "Etra" today at around 3:45. Big bruh came around 5 and by that time i had landed two and missed a beast. Once he was on the boat i landed my third. Big bruh landed the next two. My forth was a monster 3.12, banged it on the buzzy from about 50ft away. I landed the last fish of the day before quitting at 8:30

"Etra" is giving up some decent fish, i slept on the lake to be honest but im loving it right now. It just goes to show you learn your lakes. From the shore, i had some decent days but nothing bigger then 2lbs but now that i have been putting boating pressure on it, I've have caught monsters.

It was a decent day!!

Back to "Etra" today!!

Banged two little ones in about 2 1/2 hrs. While i was making my rounds a old guy stopped me and told me that he had founded this lake on the map and this was his first time here. So he went on to ask where was the best spot from the shore to fish and i told him the shorelne over there by the lillies. I went on to invite him on the boat, he is "Jim" the accountant. About 10 minutes later KABOOM a 4.9 killed the buzzy!!!!!. Mr.Jim was in shock, saying it was the biggest bass he had ever seen. After i got him to calm down alittle, i showed him how to work the phone so he could take the pics. It took some time but after taking a few pics of hisself and the bottom of the boat he finally took the pics. He stayed on the boat for about a hour and a half. Before he got off i seen him pull out his wallet, so i quickly said im not taking your money. He insisted, saying he wanted to thank me for making his day. He made my take his ten dollars and exited the boat. I went back to fishing but only landed 2 more little ones before quitting at 7:30.

A slow day but the 4lb club is the "Ish", specially on top water :headbang2.
