FISHING SEASON 2K12!!!!!!

buckets of fail today. went to lake crabtree and caught one 9" crappie that decided it was a good idea to bite a full size spinnerbait, after a couple hours there headed over to umstead park and fished sycamore lake. most people fish the big lake and sycamore is very lightly fished. water is very clear and we didnt catch anything in a couple hours. saw a couple juvy bass and bream, but the most interesting thing we found were quite a few big 15lb+ common carp hanging around at the top of the water, will have to go back and catch em at some point

left work early to get some additional bait, my ammo for tomorrow will consist of 14 bluegills (from 2 to 6"), 10 white perch(from 4 to 8"), 1 giant shiner minnow, 1 thick 10" carp (cutbait probably), and a handful of variously sized bullheads. I have some big baits hoping for a monster, but ill keep some smaller baits out so I at least catch something.
leaving dock around 5pm, and fishing until well after dark. Might have a report tomorrow night, might not. Dad has work so i wont be out toooo terribly late. Wish me luck!

wish i could get out this afternoon but i got to work and then tomorrow gotta knock out a paper... thursday is up in the air whether its gonna rain but probably won't get out again until friday. gotta go back to bond and search for some hawgs, but ill settle for some 2lbers again, spunky fish in that lake

I'm going all out for flats this weekend as well with fellow MFK'er Mike Sema, we should be reporting back with some pigs, and maybe evena few babies for tanks

I am really close of buying a 4HP four stroke mercury outboard motor from 2001 for my boat.
Still a bit doubting whether I should buy it or not.
2001 is a bit old,but this one is really cheap and in excellent state.
It's the choice of waiting for a motor that's from 2004-08 that is probably €200 more or take this one before somebody else would take it.
