Lousiana fish and wildlife says:

5 daily per person - bag 2
No more than one over 27” max total length
Recreational saltwater anglers may possess a two day’s bag limit on land; however, no person shall be in possession of over the daily bag limit in any one day or while fishing or while on the water, unless that recreational saltwater angler is aboard a trawler engaged in commercial fishing for a consecutive period of longer than 25 hours. Take or Possession of red drum in federal waters is prohibited.
Two days’ bag limit allowed in possession off of the water, not while fishing or in a boat.

Counted 15 reds there. 3 people, 5 fish per person. It's legit. 2 people, 7 fish per person but it's allowed 2 day's limits in possession on land. So while that may have only been 1 day, it's by all means to be technically legal by unloading your limit on shore and catching a few more.

That being said, if it was just him. Who enjoy's fishing by themselves for that long to catch that many fish anyways? I like fishing with my friends, I rarely go by myself. Boat or shore.
 
if the fish are biting like that i have no problem fishing alone lol.. in fact i go alone probably a good 60% of my trips because most other people aren't as dedicated as i am

I do not believe you are more dedicated,some people do fishing as a hobby, they like doing it every now and than in there freetime.
While others just got fishing in their blood, they feel bad about themselfs when they don't fish and are living up every time they get a chance to fish.
They old huntersinstinct is still inside their DNA.
You are clearly someone who's got fishing in his DNA.
 
Went out today and got my last fish of the 2013 season. Nothing big but for december i will take it. This is the latest i have ever been fishing and i know why i usually stop mid november (it was 28 degrees). I cant wait for the spring and hope to have another great season. meant to write most other people I fish with aren't as dedicated not other people as a whole that comment sounds ignorant as it gets haha. but i can go with the fishing in my DNA for sure

5 per person, 1 over 27 and there was 3 of us=15 reds, 23 specks and a bass. Caught all reds and 1/2 the trout on gulp shrimp. This was my 1st time trying artificial in our spots and they went nuts for it immediately.
