I'm pretty south of Jersey and haven't seen any gills on beds yet. We've had similar weather this year. Id give them a week or 2. This warm weather oughta finally get some fish moving.

Maybe this weekend for sure. Hitting up the discharge (finally) to get the boat out and make sure everything is running smoothly before our trip to kerr lake. Hopefully i get some big flatheads to take some pictures with also!! We're just now starting to catch some bluegills again and chubs have been hard to come by. I had 2 jump out of the bait tank last night, stupid me forgot to put the net back over the top!
If anyone has any experience with bait at Kerr Lake let me know. I know they sell goldfish minnow but i want some fresh shad to get some big blue pulls!!! My girlfriend needs a 30+lber and i want a 100+++++!!!!

We will be in Clarksville VA. It looks like it will cost me $10 to use a cast net plus whatever the license cost. I will probably pay it just throw the net for fun. Who knows? I heard the bait shops done there like to sell big goldfish for bait and hopefully it will easy to catch gills too. who knows?????

Decent night at the warm water discharge. although the boat wasn't to happy about being taken out, we still have lots of bugs to fix including a new hummingbird 898si finder that wont turn on!
