Rough night at a local bass tournament that I finally decided to go to. Only 1 of 7 boats caught a limit of 5. He won and his weight was only 6 lbs 13 oz. My buddy and I only had 2 keepers and I lost 3 fish (been off my game recently).

Such a rough night 2 boats left at 10, tournament ends at 11. 2 boats had no keepers and the remaining boat had a single 14".

We got 2nd place and big fish at 4 lbs 3 oz. with only 2 fish and a 4oz penalty (and dinner) of a dead fish. Prick swallowed the hook after 2 quick thumps. Payout for 2nd and big fish was $80. And didn't take pics lol kinda embarrassing to only get 2 and the big bass was 2 lbs 7 oz.

Had a pretty good day of mixed bag fishing at the local lake today. Started off fly fishing with streamers in the morning and got a 12" Rainbow, then switched to nymphs in the afternoon and caught 3 Bluegills, then finally got out the spinning rod and got a Creek Chub plus nice pair of Yellow Bullheads on worms before I got frozen out for the night.

Another great day at the local park. Fished the short creek that connects the two lakes and went 3 for 5 on Trout (12" Brown, 10" Rainbow, and 8" Rainbow). Started off fly fishing with nymphs but they had no interest so I switched to crawlers under a float and got the three I landed within a 15 minute period before they shut down. After that moved up to the second smaller creek with no trout stocked in it in search of warmwater fish and caught 2 nice Creek Chubs plus a 14" Rainbow that somehow found its way above a 25' high manmade waterfall (I smell bucket biologists... But in this case I'm not complaining :) ).

Could you please elaborate on the smell of a "bucket biologist"? Is it earthy? Perhaps a little fishy?

Yeah, a little bit like fish, a lot like hand sanitizer, and sometimes the sight of two guys jumping in their lifted pickup with empty buckets driving away from the creek in a hurry LOL.
